Introduction

The purpose of this document is to detail the product life cycle management policies regarding all open line fabrics marketed under the Guilford of Maine® brand.

Definition

Open Line - All styles and SKU's which are non proprietary and therefore, available to all customers.

Classifications & Conditions

Code Green
Fabrics that appear on current Guilford of Maine swatchcards and are available for purchase/adoption in either full rolls or cut yardage. A five yard minimum is required.

Code Yellow
Vertical surface fabrics that DO NOT appear on current Guilford of Maine swatchcards but continue to be available at a more limited service level. No new adoptions will be solicited. A five yard minimum is required.

Code Red
Fabrics that do not appear on the current Guilford of Maine swatchcards and may be designated for obsolescence 1 year from the effective inactive date. Minimums, upcharges and extended leadtimes may apply.

Code Black
Products in this category are no longer produced and, except for any residual stock, are not available beyond the effective obsolescence date.
